Had a great weekend in Kitchener witnessing the wedding of Bryan Sarles & Jenn Snell. Great day and great testimony to the Lord

Kiz Club & Connect

Kidz Club and Connect got going again last night at Church. Eva is now in the Kidz Club and she did very well. Quite surprised by the Diva but proud of her

Isaac was thrilled to be back in clubs and he always comes away sweaty from playing with his friends

Book Fair

Every year the school has a book fair and a chance for the kids to show us their classes and meet the teachers. Eva was quite spooked by the tall "reindeer" so she withdrew herself from the photo op

BBQ

Halloween

We always seem to get the kids halloween costumes really early so we can have a good selection. Not sure why we always tend to buy them in august or early september but we do. Isaac is going to be BUMBLE B, he's from Transformers

Sunday Afternoon Baseball

Isaac has become obsessed with Baseball ever since we went to the jays game. And he's actually got some decent co-ordination to hitting the ball too.

Always fun with Eva being the back catcher... she tends to get a little close to the bat and odd time gets hit but she is my daughter and I also remember getting wacked in the head with a baseball bat at the hand of my sibbling too...

Great to See Delaney at church yesterday. She is in Isaac's class at school and is now in Maintenance mode on her Chemo treatment for the next two years

Fall Kick Off

We had our fall kick off at the church yesterday with the theme, Medeival Faire - Going to Battle. Was a good day.
We had Swiss Chalet Chicken ordered in and we ate with no cuttlery... i felt barbaric.

There was a jousting competition and isaac was in there like a dirty shirt

He had a system of pushing the person to the end and knocking them off

I like to go through my old posts and check out what we were doing 3-4 years ago. I ran across an old picture tonight which looked vaguely familiar....

Labour Day

Labour Day

So we wanted to finish off the summer with all the things we promised at the beginning of the summer that we'd do... wo we had a few things to check off the list... first was riding the bikes on the path beside the river

We met up with Delaney & Davin for 1 last game of mini golf

KFC Picnik in the park... thanks to the wonderful world of advertising for putting that idea in the boys head. He is also determined to go to Marineland because "everyone loves marineland"

Finished off with a trip to the pirate ship and a visit to campbells orchards for some fresh veggies. Busy but fun day. Wierd this year that school has started before labour day but it made it feel like another holiday weekend so that's cool.

Aunt Carol got Faithy a walker for her first birthday and it has greatly increased her mobility.

Eva's first day

I woke up and came out to the living room and Eva was soooo happy to be starting school. Couldn't wait. All morning she was happy. Tanya had told the kids on their first day of school, she would make their favorite supper for them. So yesterday, Isaac requested Taco's so Tanya made up some really good taco's. We asked Eva, what would you like mommy to make for supper on your first day of school... "McDonalds" lol so rather than tanya whipping up a batch of mcdonalds, we're off to eat at Mcdonalds tonight... assuming the day goes better than it started

As the bus pulled up, they all walked closer to it... except Eva, who began to back up. After fruitless efforts to calm her down and put her on the bus, dad piled her in the van and took her to school. You have to understand the above picture was taken just moments before the outburst. That's our Diva... turns on a dime. Anyway, took her to school and there were more tears, got the teacher to run block for me and i left. I waited in the hall and made sure she was fine and then returned home to tell tanya the news...

Needless to say, tanya is enjoying the freedom
