Waterfront

Took kids to waterfront this morning. They haven't been feeling great all week and we thought they were getting better so we went to see Bob The Builder...

We were there for about an hour and a half and they both started freaking out so we went home... both still feeling under the weather

This morning as I ate breakfast, Isaac was going on at length about Lady Tasha's Jews. "Someone has taken her Jews" Ok son first of all... and then I realize the backyardigans are on tv and lady tasha has had her JEWELS stolen. Phew... my son is not a racisit.

The New Blades

We bought rollerblades for Isaac for his birthday and he used them for the first time tonight. As you can see by his face, he wasn't really enjoying it.

Little Sick Diva

Poor Eva has gotten tonselitis. She's been running a fever and just been lathargic... this picture just captures how sick she's feeling. Doing a bit better but not 100%

Back with a Bang

Got home from Montreal tonight and I guess a storm must have come through and blew our umbrella over and busted our glass table

Came inside and noticed there was water on the floor, our water cooler had leaked an 18l bottle all over our hardwood and downstairs... oh the fun. oh by the way, happy anniversary honey. hope this isn't a sign of things to come over the next 7 years!

7th Anniversary

Tanya and I went away this weekend for our 7th Anniversary to Montreal

We Took The Train and stayed downtown

I was going to go on a tour of the Bell Centre but Tanya Declined the chance to go... funny, i don't understand why. Went Shopping instead.

Montreal Jazz Festival

Took in the Jazz Festival for the first time.

We Had Tickets to see Branford Marsalis, he plays the Sax and was the band leader for Jay Leno and the tonight show at one time... yeah, the concert sucked. Tanya slept from beginning to end and I thought I was a music lover but i wouldn't qualify that as music. It was disorganized Chaos. The drummer was just a banging and the piano player was all over the place, playing wrong notes in my estimation and I couldn't even hear th bass player. Branford would play a bit and then he'd just walk off stage... is he coming back, where did he go.

Happy 4th Birthday Isaac

He changed his mind daily it seemed as to which cake he would like for his party but he eventually settled on an Ottawa Senators Cake. Not to worry, his favorite teams are Montreal and Ottawa... phew

Took some of his friends mini golfing tonight... a little bit of an adventure

Eva had to golf but as you can see by the picture, she's not even looking at the ball... too busy looking around... reminds me of my sister carol

When we arrived home from the cottage, isaac got in his wagon and said "Pull me Eva" and her response cracked me right up... "Ok Isaac" and out she went and pulled him.... all 25 pounds of her"

Cottage north of 7

For the 2nd year in a row, we along with some family and friends have rented a bunch of cottages near Cloyne. Great weather and a great time this week.

The Cost of Soccer...

Drove all the way home from the cottage this week just so Isaac could play "the big game against the teal soccer team" So we got back and after 1 shift, he was done and wanted no part of playing. We convinced him to get back on the field and he scored a beauty goal. After he scored, he came right off the field and sat down, he was spent.
