No Peak!
Took a picture of our house decorated for Christmas tonight. I waited to long to hang the lights from the peak... roof is too icy. Ah well better to be a house half decorated and then home for christmas as apposed to fully decorated and in the hospital with a broken back

Michael Burgess
Tanya and I went to see Michael Burgess in concert last night at the empire. He put on a great performance. He did all kinds of show tunes including onces for Les Mis and Phantom as well as some Christmas favorites. Great show.
Flat Tire
We've had a busy weekend. Friday night was an outreach supper at the church. We skipped hockey altogether. On the way back home, Tanya hit something on the road. When we woek up saturday morning, here is what we found. I was going to get ambitious and change the tire myself but I figured CAA would do just as good a job or even better so I gave them call

Santa
Santa arrived at Tanya's work party today. Kids had their pictures taken with him... Eva of course was freaked out by Santa. Last year, we left the party at the same time as santa and saw him drive away in his Dodge Grand Caravan. Took a little bit of magic out of the moment so this year we left a little bit early.
Bowling with Bioniche
For whatever reason, Eva was freaked out by the bowling balls but by the end, she had decided she and mommy could push the ball. Tanya was the only bowler there with a kid attached at the hip

Constable Dave
When I lived in the farm house, Dave lived with me along with Rick Bertran. Dave is now a constable in the Durham Region police force. Haven't seen him in 6 or 7 years. He and his girlfriend Amy popped in to see us. Great catching up...
States
Went on a shopping trip last weekend to watertown.
Kids travelled great and did really well...except for getting the hot water dumped on her, Eva did great as did Isaac. Got some christmas shopping done and took kids to see the Bee Movie as well. Took us 10 minutes to get into US and about 35 to get back over.... lots of canadian shoppers
