For about 25 straight years, the bulls had a new years day game. Shortly after arriving to ontario, our family started a new years day pot luck where we'd go to the bulls game and then back to my parents for supper and some games. A few years back, the bulls stopped having new years day games so we were kinda looking for a new tradition. Me and the boy have gotten into the outdoor winter classic. Isaacs hockey coach actually got tickets and was at this years game so it had a little extra umph as we watched it.
So rather than go rushing out, we had a nice quiet day in at home, did some chinese take-out and then had our annual christmas get together with our neighbors. All in all, a good day
