Zoo

Went to the Zoo yesterday with Steve & Lisa, Delaney and Davin. Here Isaac is on a camel ride with Delany 

Sting Like A Bee

Note to self, when painting, not a good idea to try and paint near a bee's nest. Trying to shoo the swarm a way makes a nice decorative paint design on the deck. Doh. Good thing it's only water base.

Rivers of Joy

After a frustrating day, Isaac ended the day by going pee ... finally... on the potty. He was so excited he called everyone on the phone he could. We got everyone except for Prime Minister Harper who is out of the country. He amazes me with some of the things he knows yet at times I take forgranted what he does not know. As he sat on the toilet, he looked at me and said, Daddy I kneed to go pooh. Is it gonna come out of there? Wrong end kid

Potty Training

Potty Training Started today.... in first hour and a half... 4 pairs of wet underwear. We are bribing him and he actually got 1 dribble out in the potty, Tanya cheered and said he could have a candy. He stood up, put his underwear back on and promptly wet it completely then looked at tanya and said, I want a candy.

I'm Thinking

The other night, Isaac had his hands firmly down the back of his pants. I said, what are you doing get your hands out of there. He looked at me and said "Sorry Daddy, I can't, I thinking"

Elephants

One of the highlights of the night for isaac was when one of the elephants left his calling card on the floor and then promptly rolled in it.... I'll be honest, it was one of my highlights too. 

Why does the circus cost so much?

$7 for a stinkin superman balloon that will probably last for 24 hrs.... ah but the memories

Eva Takes a Tumble

You Wouldn't realize by this picture but hrs earlier, Eva took her first tumble down the stairs to the hard ceramic floor below. I believe she's bounced back quicker than her Mother and Father have. 

Isaac Learns to Peddle

After much trying, he finally reallized that he can peddle his trike. He still likes to push with his feet but is able to peddle. Now after learning this, we're hoping he'll pick up on potty training just as quick. We're starting that this week... not looking forward to this...

Golfing With Delaney

Isaac went golfing last night with his friend Delaney for her birthday. He didn't quite get the concept, he's got too much hockey installed in him. Anyway, when the 18th swollewed and kept his yellow ball, it was more than he could bear. 

A Prairie Home Companion

Tanya and I went to Kingston this weekend for our anniversary. It was so nice to relax, to eat out without having to chop up food for the kids. We went to chapters, did some shopping, out for dinner and then went to see "Prairie Home Companion" We were the only people in the theatre and then this other man comes in to watch... for a while it was just the 3 of us... was a little odd but then 2 other couples came in. This movie was directed by the same guy who did gosford park... I fell asleep in that one too. I still haven't figured it out... if anyone has seen Prairie Home Companion, perhaps they could enlighten me on the plot... one of those movies when the credits roll, you go... huh?

Anniversary

Tomorrow is our 6th Anniversary. We are heading to Kingston for the weekend without the kids. I'm pretty sure I'll put my head on the pillow, realize how sleep deprived we are, and wake up sunday morning just in time to come home. Fun Times. Isaac & Eva are heading to Grampa and Grammas for the weekend.

Bath Time

It was bath time for both kids last night to which Isaac replied... I don't need a bath. I am very very very very very very very very very very very very clean.

Going for a ride

Eva loves getting in the diaper box and being pulled around the house. There is barely enough room for her in there and Isaac decided to get in for the ride. We've got all these nice riding cars for them to ride in but the most popular one... the pampers box 

Back To Work

Tanya went back to work yesterday after being off for more than a year. We worried about how the kids would adjust by going to a baby sitter for 2 days a week and those worries were answered when Tanya showed up last night to pick them up and Isaac didn't want to leave, he was having to much fun playing with the cars!
