Chapel Day

Went to Guelph on Saturday for a meeting with Hockey Ministries and Chapel Leaders in the OHL/OHA. What a great day.

And the winner is...

On Saturday at the health unit function down at the market square, there was a coloring contest. Yesterday morning, Isaac got the phone call that his picture had won for the age group of 5-7. He was a basket full of stuff. He was pretty excited. He loves to color and is actually pretty good at it. Eva saw the basket and said, where's mine... yeah.

On a completely different topic, last night during prayer time, Eva was praying through her regular list and all of a sudden she prays for "Joseph". I questioned her and said did you just pray for Joseph... "yeah" who is joseph... we're still not sure. Oh eva

Happy 10th Birthday Connor

We went to cobourg for Connor's 10th Birthday. My how time flies. Tanya and I went on our first date the day before he was born... we bumped into Todd & Sue heading to the hospital at the Tim Horton's Drivethrough the morning before he was born. Love the pic above of all of the Jone's Grand Children. We did one bfore but Sofia wasn't there... this has them all... The Diva is sporting the "upside down" shades look. It always works.

The Peels Visit

Uncle Mike & Aunt Heather came to meet Faith today. Had a great visit with. Aidan plays so well with Isaac and Eva just towed right along with them.

Farmers Market/ Health Unit

The local health unit had a thing for kids today at the farmers market to promote healthy lifestyles. Kids were encouraged to bring down their stuffed animals to get a check up from the doctor and get their immunizations. It was pretty cute. According to Isaac, "Tyrone" had a tummy ache and "Elmo" had a broken leg and was exhausted". They also got their needles and Tyrone and Elmo were "very brave" and then they were given band aid's. Very fun day.

There was a coloring contest as well, isaac was all over that like a fat kid on a smarty. Cousins Katie and Jacob happened to be down there too along with papa

There was also a zuchini car race... Isaac entered and won his heat. As you can see below, he was some excited. Did a little shopping in the market and got some fresh fruits and vegetables... mmm.... yeah, and a pie too. fun fun morning

Fun at the park

Got a surprise at work friday when tanya and the kids stopped by for a visit. It was around lunch time so we went through the drive through and went down to the park to eat and play

Won't have too many more opportunities to play at the park this year so we took advantage of it while we could

I love this time of year... cool but mostly sunny. was a great lunch hour. Wish they could all be this good
