Mom broke her pelvis 2 1/2 weeks ago and it has been a slow process healing. Kids have really taken to the new ride tho and enjoy having gramma push them on her walker

We bought Eva new silk PJ's, couldn't resist. $8.99 at walmart which tells you... they are really made of silk! or something that resembles silk. Anyway Isaac told her they were special jammies and only for dancing. Tan's got the kid watching too much dancing with the stars... ugh

Best of Friends

I love coming home frome work and finding these two playing and laughing together. Right now at least, they are the best of friends... in 6 months, may be a different story

Hangin Out in Port Hope

Spent some time outside in the yard yesterday and Isaac was helping me on the tractor and had to wear his ear thingy's. Anyway, when we left for Port Hope, he had to wear them in the car because "the jeep is loud" Made me laugh.

Night At The Empire

Went out last night with another couple to see MOLLY JOHNSON at the empire theatre for a night of Jazz. Had a good night. Althought Jazz is not my first choice, I do appreciate it and enjoy it.

Growing Up Too Fast

Isaac went to meet at his school today. Hard to believe he's going to school next year. Anyway, he met with the Vice Principal today and they asked a bunch of questions to see what level of learning he's at. They showed him a bunch of markers and asked him to name the colors and pick his favorite.... "purple" and he passed with flying colors. They then asked him to count to 10... not so good at that point. After 1-2-3-4-5, its a plethera of numbers thrown in and then 10. 1-2-3-4-5-9-7-11ty9-8 TEN. Too bad she didn't ask him to identify the logo's of the NHL Teams in the eastern conference. The boy would have aced that.

After getting home from the hockey game, kids took forever to get to sleep. Went in to check on the kids and Isaac looked kind of funny all sprawlled in his bed.

Eva took a while to fall asleep. She was playing with all her dolls and talking to them. Went in to check on them and she had them all lined up against the wall... too funny

My Black Eyed Pea

Eva partially fell down the stairs last night and hit her face on the way down. She cried and cried... picture doesn't give it justice but she has quite the shiner. Took her to the bulls game and I'm expecting calls tomorrow from the Childrens Aid...

As you can see by the next picture, it hasn't slowed her down at all. Smiles and all, Going down the stairs again.

Karen The Cow

Went to the Bulls game tonight and there was a lull near the beginning of the game and I hear this loud bellowing voice: "LET'S GO GENNIES" and then the entire section Moo'd. I knew it could only be one person, Karen the Cow. Superfan of the oshawa generals and former neighbor to my sister. I'm not being disrespectful with her name, that's what she's called.

Increasing Numbers....

Had some of our friends over tonight, Chad & Catherine and their two boyz and Dav & Delaney (and their parents too)
