Maple in The County

Dad and I took the kids last year to Maple in the county and had a wonderful time so we made sure we went back again this year. Uncle David, and cousins Katie and Jacob made the trip this year too

Easter Sunday

There are many memories I have as a child growing up on the 4th. Many revolve around after school and afternoons skating in front of our house. On that Ice, I was a stanley cup champion. Here in Ontario, we've had the longest winter that I can ever remember. Most easter weekends, it's the sure sign of spring

Today, while Mommy & Eva went for a nap, Isaac and I went and played hockey on the neighbors field. The conditions were perfect and I hope Isaac will remember this in his child hood memories

I love the picture with the horses in the background. This is like a picture for a christmas card... taken on Easter Sunday no less..

On our walk back to the house, i snapped this shot. We never get to see our house from this angle.

Easter Egg Hunt

There was a mysterious trail of eggs left on the stairs leading to the basement

I rehid all of the eggs we found at the mall. Kids had no clue

The trail led to their big chocolates and then there was a hunt in the room

Isaac really wanted a Ninja Turtles chocolate that we had seen when we were out shopping. When I went back to get it yesterday, of course it was gone. So I picked up the Spiderman one. Before we went downstairs, Isaac said, Did the easter bunny bring me the ninja turtles chocolate? I had to explain to him that the easter bunny ran out of them to which he interpreted, that the easter bunny had eaten them all and that wasn't really very nice. I was torn between buying the spider man or the mickey mouse one next. So then Isaac pipes up, did the easter bunny bring me a mickey mouse chocolate... DOH. O for 2

The Hunt

Isaac couldn't figure out why I knew where all the eggs were hidden. He said "Daddy, did you wait up and watch the Easter Bunny hide the eggs?" I said yes to which he replied " Hey, You cheated... you cheated"

To the victor go the spoils... a little chocolate before breakast is always a good thing. I feel sorry for Isaacs sunday school teacher

Eva was quite excited about the Dora chocolate. Isaac made sure she was aware that he was with me when we bought the Dora chocolate and she better thank him and I for it.

Bulls Win

Went to the bulls game tonight and spent some time with some friends of ours. Isaac met up wit a couple of friends and played mini sticks all night. I'm pretty sure each one of them got nailed in the head at least once and had tears

After each goal, the boys would have a celebratory hug... pretty cute

Met up with Conrad, Kim & Josh Oliver. Great to catch up with you guys

Went on a field trip with Isaacs class today to the Frink Centre and saw how they made maple syrop
