Coloring

I really want to keep the kids coloring and things for the memories but i don't fancy all the paper. So... I've resorted to scanning some of the stuff and then keeping it electronically. I was away on a business trip last week to North Bay and Isaac had decided that he was going to draw a picture of Mommie, Eva, Faith and Himself and when I got lonely, i could just look at the picture. I love what he wrote in green, just in case I forgot... Isaac, he is 5. Thanks buddy. He also drew a picture of me and that was for him to keep and when he was lonely, he could look at it. When I got home, he was a little upset because he aparantly lost the picture of me. Went looking for it several times and couldn't find it. Too funny

I discovered this on a scrap piece of paper... have no idea why he wrote it but... "The Good Habs Are Great" Ha, my montreal canadien brainwashing has worked!

This is a picture that my diva has done for me. We complimented her on it and Isaac was appalled... "Daddy, it's not even in between the lines"

Goats and things

So we arrived home saturday night and a message on our machine says, "come on over to our house. Dave had to bring home a pregnant goat and is going to deliver the babies" When I arrived, the goat was tied up in the back of the van. They ended up doing a c-section in their garage. Let me tell, a sight I never thought I'd see from our kitchen window. This is better than the discovery channel

Check ou the recycling bin... one of the 2 "kids"

Chuckee Cheese Collage

We went to chuckee cheese last week and they have a picture maker machine. Isaac's idea was to get each of us on our own and then a family shot... he's a thinker that boy. Anyway, He did his own, Eva refused to go by herself, surprise surprise and when it came to tanya and faith, we'd run out of paper so this is best we could do.

Easter Outfits

Kids all had matching outfits for easter today...
I'm sure as they get older, these pictures will be met with some opposition, but for now we revell in their cuteness. I like to refer to the clothes as their cruise wear.

Easter Morning

Pics of the kids hunting for chocolate

I had hidden the chocolates and clues over the house. For the first time, Isaac actually read the clues himself (with a little help) I am beginning to realize that our kids are getting bigger and growing up. Some of the little things he used to say like "Maple Seersop", "Michael Murphis" and having "Hoooool's" in his socks, he no longer says. Our boy is growing up. Eva, still don't understand all that she says and its' yet to make total sense. And I love it!!!

Was rather proud of our kids. They would find 2 eggs hidden together and the one would take one and leave the last one for each other. Pretty cute. They played really well together until they sat on the couch and began to pound on each other... but it was cute while it lasted.

Zwicks Easter Egg Hunt

So every year, we go to the mall for an easter egg hunt. It's tradition. So much so that Katie and Jacob came from Oshawa to go with the kids. Unfortunately the fine folks at the mall didn't feel obliged to fulfill the annual mackay tradition so out with the old and in with the new. So at 1:00, the chamber of commerce had a easter egg hunt at zwicks park. They had over 35,000 eggs. There was a bit of a traffic jam so we got there at 1:05... well, half of belleville showed up so by the time we got there... nothing left.

Anyway, we were walking in and we bumped into my best friend while I was growing up, Conrad and his wife Kim and his sister Kim and her husband JF. We had a good time reconnecting. Although the egg hunt was a bit of a bust, a fun time was had by all... well kinda
