Love my new hat

We bought isaac a new hat yesterday at the bulls game. His other hats are getting old and small (the kid has a rather large cranium). Anyway, we were in the bulls store and he put this hat on his head and he was so excited... "It fits daddy, it fits" Couldn't say no. Not the hat from the Gap that his mother would like him to have but he did like his hat... and if there was any question... when we went to check on the kids at bedtime... this is what we found

Going for the tree

Annual Jone's Tradition is to go to Christmas Tree farm in Courtice to cut down a tree as a family. Long way to go for a tree but always fun when you look back

Tangled

Been looking to do something special with Eva. The ad for Tangled came on the tv and they had a float in the toronto santa claus parada (Story of Rapunzel) and Eva became obsessed with going to it. So after work last night, we went on a night out with Delaney and her dad and saw Tangled. Eva was loving it until a few scary parts. All in all, a fun night out

Michael Kaeshammer & Jill Barber

Went on a date with my wife last night. I'll admit, i hadn't really hear much of the act but at this point, any excuse to get a baby sitter and go out and get cultured, we'll take. Must Admit, was pleasantly surprised. Jill Barber has a very unique voice and was very good and Michael Kaeshammer was one of the best pianist's i've ever heard.... ranks up there with Harry Connick Jr. in my opion. Anyway, a great evening out with my wife. Love nights like that.

Festival Of Trees

Hadn't been in years but took the kids to the festival of trees yesterday after hockey. It had a WHOOville theme. We also bought 3 raffle tickets and each kid got to choose a tree to put their ticket in for a draw to win that tree. Notice Eva's tree has a manaquin head instead of star... i HOPE we don't win this tree... mercy sakes

Santa Pictures

Every year, we head to Sears and get our pictures taken. This year no different. We'd already been for family photo's but something isn't complete if we don't head to sears for the family photos. It's like christmas can't come unless we go. Anyway, as a treat for being good during photo's, we take the kids to see the train set at the mall. That train set was there when i was there. Hard to believe. Next they're gonna bring back Bruce the Moose

Anyway, on the way to the train, santa just happen to be there with no one in line

Faith was more into santa's dog and more specifically, the dogs bone... which doubles as a phone:)

Cool as a cucumber

Every night before we head to bed, we'll go in to check on the kids. I hear tanya yell back to me, better get the camera and check out your daughter.
Not sure how she got the glasses but she did and fell asleep with them on. Faithy cracks me up

Hockey 2010

I have really been enjoying hockey this year. Maybe because I'm not playing in a league but I really enjoyed watching isaac play. He digs and plays hard and makes us laugh. While the celebration is going on after a goal, he is usually high tailing it to get back ready for the face off. When the buzzer goes, same tenacity to get off the ice. Pretty cute
