Wedding #3 of the summer

I've never been to a wedding on Sunday before until today. My friend Dave Stewart who lived with me at the farmhouse back in 98-99 is now a police officer in the durham region and married Amy, a pk from Hamilton. Was a beautiful ceremony... Congrats Dave & Amy

New Camera

Got a new video camera today. My old one had seen it's best day and i was planning on replacing it and for whatever reason, i've... um, misplaced it. So i got a new one so we can capture the birth of this pending child. The new camera is pretty neat and it takes regular still shots on a 4mp.

Had a good day today, went to soccer and Isaac's team got shillacked 7-1. 2nd game of tournament got rained out so we're done for the year... wahoo.

Recordeded tomorrow nights show at ucb with Katie & Jacob, that was fun. Only 3 more shows, and the Edge as we know it is no more... listen for the last show Aug 24

The Week That Was

Last night was first night with both kids in the bunk bed...as we were getting ready, both kids went up on the top bunk... Isaac, completely freaked out and scared, Eva was jumping around and jumping off the top into my arms. Isaac eventually warmed up to the idea of the top bunk

Last night after work, I met tanya and the kids for supper at denny's. When I got there, i went to get eva out of her seat, she looked at me with this smerk on her face, "I think I went pee in my pull up a little bit" and I hear tanya yell from the front, "You better not have, you're not wearing a pull up"... Sure enough, our darling 3 year old had wet her pants. The look on her face was too funny tho... it was like a "WHHOOPS" and then she just started laughing. Oh boy.

Had a busy week of soccer and getting ready for this baby that's coming. Lots still to do. Tanya is now done work which is good. 30 days to go....

Last Week of Soccer

Been a fun year of soccer this year. Our last game is saturday against the dreaded sky blue and lime green 4/5 teams. A true battle awaits!

Kingston

We always like to get away for our anniverary every year but this year we decided to bring the kids with us. Isaac and I went down to kingston on the train and tanya and eva met us there. We did a bit of shopping, went to the buskers festival, did some swimming and went to see WALL-E. Eva and Tanya came back to Belleville on the train today. A fun weekend

X Marks The Spot...

When I was home with Isaac on Tuesday, He was determined to draw pictures for all his party guests that came to his birthday. He spent the entire afternoon drawing spiderman pictures, asking me how to spell their name and what their age was...

He was doing more of the same yesterday with Tanya and he explained what he was doing. If the people were nice to him, he put their age on the back of the picture... If people are mean to him, then he'll mark the back of the picture with an X. So went through his pictures and were relieved to see Tanyas picture has a 35, mine has a 37 on the back. Of the 15 or so pictures that he did, there was 1 with 3 x's on the back... you guessed it... It was Eva's.

8 Years

Today is our 8 year anniversary... Time Flies...

New Bunk Beds

I was about to have a nap this afternoon... instead, i put the bunk beds together. They arrived last week in 5 boxes. We've decided to leave Eva in her room until after Isaacs tonsils are taken out. They love the new bed... but had to explain why Isaac was on the bottom for now, why Eva couldn't sleep there yet and why the ladder wasn't on. Well, at least it's up.

Took a picture from our neighbors yard. We are enjoying our back yard and happy the way it's developing. I'll have to post a before and after picture

After a busy day at the beach, just nice to set and relax with some great food. Stopped at Campbell's orchards on the way home and picked up some fresh Veggies and some great meat from Gilmours. The Kabobs there are ginormous and good. Great day with the Peels
