It was our third annual trip to the county for Maple in the County. We were joined by the kritzers and the osmonds and what a fun day we had. So good to spend some time with Delaney and Davin, Nate & Ben. Kids really enjoyed doing kid stuff together... what a great time together as families.

She's Nuts
On saturday, determined to do at least one fun thing over march break with the kids, we venutred out to the pirate ship. It was pretty cold but we had a good time. When we got there, there was a little boy from isaac's school who had 2 other friends with him. Isaac began to hang out with them a bit and Eva was not far behind. A sheepish Isaac came over to let me know that one of the boys had called Eva a bad name. The protective father in me stepped up and demanded that he tell me what they said and I was going to bring these young boys to task. I had to push Isaac extremely hard and then he finally relented and said, "but it wasn't me who said it" ok ok ok, what did they call her... "well daddy, they said, She's Nuts" I was expecting far worse. I asked, why did they call her that and then he explained to me that Eva had told them a joke... the joke you ask... "knock, knock" who's there.... Stinky shoes... ha ha ha" yeah, she is a little nuts!
Doodlebops
At the beginning of March break, we took the kids to the empire to see the doodlebops. If you've not seen them before, you are missing a true treat... for the eyes and the ears... and if you can't hear the sarcasm in that statement, you really don't know me.
After the concert, we went for dinner to East Sides and after supper, Eva manged to seperate her self from us and got lost in the mall between 10-15 minutes. It was AWFUL AWFUL.We are so thankfull to the Lord that she was ok... and she was not phased or upset about it at all. It will be a story we regurgatate for a while. And i'm sure, our details will get worse each time... but it was horrible experience
ill be a story we talk
My Girls
Tanya took some pictures today of the girls while the boy was at school. Its been a little too long since i've blogged. Either we've been too busy or our life has been too boring to blog about. And well, i guess it's a little bit of both. Lately, the kids have been clamoring to hold the faithster
We're training Faithy early to get doing the laundry. I think even where she's at now, she can still fold better than me

My Terrific Kid
We received a phone call yesterday that Isaac would be receiving the Terrific Kid award at school this month. I was very proud of our little man. The following was the text of what Mrs. Bessette had to say:
"Today I would like to introduce you to a young man who is respectful, caring, kind, considerate, patient and exceptionlly good natured. I predict one day that he will be a member of our local Bulls hockey team. It is my utmost pleasure to introduce our terrific kid, Isaac Mackay"
A Champs
Well, Hockey is now over. We had the finals on friday night and according to the announcers, there were "132" people there to watch us win. It was a lot of fun. I ended up scoring the winning goal and we won 6-2. Tanya & the kids came to the game and afterwards, she seemed to be pretty happy. My teammates thought she was happy that we won but I knew better... the smile was because finally, all of our hockey was over. We know have our friday's and saturday's back.
If any of you know me, you'll know how painfully slow I skate. For whatever reason, I got a breakaway... obviously some defenceman was completely not playing their position. He caught up with me, pulled me down and I was awarded a penalty shot. Tons of pressure. I didn't score but I put the shot on net at least.... shoulda gone high
Happy Birthday Jo-Ann
